We aim to acknowledge all support requests within one (1) business day and provide a substantive response within two (2) business days. Privacy and data requests are handled within the timelines required by applicable law.

Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Download SMPHR Connections from the App Store and sign up with your email, or use Google, Apple, or LinkedIn sign-in. You'll need to verify your email before accessing all features. If your organization has deployed SMPHR Connections, you may also receive an invitation email with a direct sign-up link.
I'm having trouble signing in. What should I do?
Try resetting your password using the "Forgot Password" link on the sign-in screen. If you signed up with Google, Apple, or LinkedIn, make sure you're using the same provider you originally registered with. Clear your app cache or reinstall the app if issues persist. If the problem continues, contact [email protected] with your email address and a description of the issue.
Is the app free?
Yes. SMPHR Connections is currently provided to SMPHR members at no cost as part of a pilot program operated by PurposeMentor. All features including AI coaching, mentorship matching, events, and gamification are available at no charge. If we introduce paid features in the future, we'll provide at least 30 days' notice and no fees will be charged without your consent.
Who operates SMPHR Connections?
SMPHR Connections is built and operated by PurposeMentor. SMPHR is a pilot client organization whose members currently have access to the platform. Your account, data, and the technology behind the Service are managed by PurposeMentor. SMPHR does not have access to your personal data, private messages, or AI conversations.
What happens if the pilot program ends?
If the pilot program with SMPHR ends, PurposeMentor will provide at least 30 days' notice. During that period, you'll be able to export your data or delete your account. PurposeMentor may, at its discretion, offer continued access under new terms.
Mentorship & Matching
How does mentor matching work?
Our matching algorithm considers your HR function, career level, skills, goals, and preferences to suggest compatible mentors or mentees. You can browse matches and send connection requests through the app. Matches are suggestions — you are never required to accept a match, and you can search for and connect with other users outside of algorithm suggestions.
Can I have multiple mentors or mentees?
Yes. There is no limit to the number of mentoring relationships you can have on the platform. We encourage users to build diverse mentoring networks that support different aspects of their professional growth.
How do I end a mentoring relationship?
You can disconnect from a mentor or mentee at any time through the relationship settings in the app. The other person will be notified that the connection has ended, but no reason will be shared. If you're experiencing issues with another user, you can also report them through the app.
AI Coach
What is the AI Coach?
The AI Coach is a conversational assistant that provides personalized career guidance, helps you brainstorm strategies, and offers HR-specific advice. It's available 24/7 and uses your profile information to give relevant suggestions. Important: the AI Coach is not a substitute for professional advice from a licensed counselor, attorney, therapist, or financial advisor. AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies and should be independently verified.
Is my AI Coach conversation private?
Your AI conversations are stored securely on our servers and are not visible to other users, mentors, or your organization's administrators. Conversations are not used to train third-party AI models. You should avoid sharing sensitive personal information (such as SSN, financial data, or medical records) with the AI Coach.
Are there usage limits on the AI Coach?
Yes, to ensure fair usage and system stability, each user is limited to 100 AI requests per day and 100,000 tokens per day. These limits reset daily at midnight UTC. The vast majority of users will never reach these limits during normal use.
Events & Gamification
How do I RSVP to events?
Browse upcoming events in the Events tab, tap on any event for details, and tap "RSVP" to confirm your attendance. You can also add events directly to your device calendar. You'll receive a reminder notification before the event begins.
How do badges and the leaderboard work?
You earn badges by completing activities like attending events, reaching goals, completing assessments, and referring colleagues. Badges come in four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Your leaderboard rank is based on total points earned during each cycle. Leaderboard participation is optional and visible only to other users of the Service.
How do I refer someone?
Go to your profile and tap "Referrals" to see your unique referral code and QR code. Share it with colleagues via text, email, or social media. You earn referral badges as people sign up using your code.
Privacy & Data
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion through the app settings or by emailing [email protected]. Once confirmed, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within ninety (90) days in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please note that some data may be retained longer if required by law.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You have the right to request a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. To request a data export, email [email protected] with the subject line "Data Export Request." We will fulfill your request within thirty (30) days.
Who can see my profile information?
Your profile information (name, job title, company, skills, and goals) is visible to other users of the Service to facilitate mentorship matching and community interaction. Your email address is not publicly displayed. You can control the visibility of certain profile fields in your account settings.
Does SMPHR sell my data?
No. PurposeMentor does not sell your personal information. We do not share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. SMPHR does not have access to your personal data unless separately agreed. For full details on how we use and share your information, please see our Privacy Policy.
Safety & Reporting
How do I report inappropriate content or behavior?
Tap the three-dot menu on any post or message and select "Report." You can also email [email protected] with details. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports are kept confidential — the reported user will not be told who filed the report.
I think my account may have been compromised. What should I do?
Immediately change your password using the "Forgot Password" flow and email [email protected] with details. If you signed in with Google, Apple, or LinkedIn, also review and revoke any suspicious sessions on those providers. We will investigate and help secure your account.
